NTHOA was established as a non-profit organization in December 2022. It was founded with several goals:
• Mentorship program and development for new and existing officials
• Advanced training program with focus on junior / professional exposure
• Sustainable scheduling practices
• Fair qualification and equitable distribution of game assignments
• Commitment to retention and recruitment of membership
